Title: Track work Standards
Post by: Steve Ford on January 22, 2023, 11:22:24 am
Are there any documents that describe the track laying standards the Monon used?  I'm mostly interested in early 1900's through 1930's.  For example, how long was the rail they used, tie spacing, etc.  I've been able to get a general idea of the rail weight in use during the various time frames, but no idea of the rail length.  I found this document from the NPRy, and didn't know if the Monon had anything similar.

Thanks,

Steve Ford
