Lake States Archive photos-Lee A. Hastman collection
« on: August 31, 2023, 05:50:20 pm »
The Lake States Archive collection of photographs, that includes (among many others) the J. David Ingalls vast photo collection, is a treasure trove of vintage photographs. The Lake States Railway Historical Association is a non-profit based in Baraboo, WI, and among their various collections are folders for the Monon, and also C&WI, and Chicago Passenger Stations that also have some Monon content. They all have watermarks on them, as they are understandably protective of their Intellectual Property and are selling these printed images and downloads. The Lee A. Hastman collection is initially the most interesting one to me, and is the only one I've searched through completely. I have a feeling several other collections may also have Monon content. Here's the link to the Hastman collection:

Eric,

Many thanks for the heads-up on this.  Too bad about the watermarks, but it's still good viewing and research.
