I purchased this last Friday night. It is the blade from the Haskell's Northbound signal. I showed the guy that had it this photo from the Monon.org site from 1973 that shows the distinct rust pattern. (Some caused by bullet strikes.) This triggered his memory- He told me his in-laws lived in Haskell's and one day exploring the area, just south of where the Monon crossed the Grand Trunk, found it laying in the tall grass and decided to bring it home. That was in 1975 and it's been in his basement ever since.  I plan on mounting it in my bar and lighting it at least, if I can hang it properly!
