South Deering Tower

This listing of South Deering Tower (IL) on eBay (3/24/13) indicates that it served the Monon among other railroads.  Is this correct?

South Deering Tower controlled the junction of the Belt Railway of Chicago's South Deering Branch and the C&WI mainline. The view is to the south. The single track next to the tower is the BRC and the C&WI double track mainline can be seen in the distance. The C&WI curved to the NW here and ran along Lake Calumet to Pullman Junction.

Wisconsin Steel Works was located just north of this junction. At various times the Monon hauled metallurgical coal off the L&N destined for WSW.
