I'm in the process of downloading and editing as many Barriger negatives as I can find.  I've already got about 50 completed and ready to go.  Four questions:

1) How many different collections are there?
2) Are all the negatives in these collections uniquely numbered?
3) Can we legally share these edited negatives?
4) What would be the best way to share these edited negatives including their descriptions?

George,
I have not figured out how to save these images in anything but a small file.  It would be great if they could be shared and identified.

I did teach myself how to save the photos in a larger size, so ignore that part of my previous message,
Thanks, Roger

Roger,

Glad to hear you figured it out.  I download the large images in sections and then "stitch" them together using software I found on the Internet.  After that, I enhance them.

All of the Barriger negatives I have found are on Flikr.  Have you found other site?

George,

I am not sure what I am doing differently, but I am able to download the images as one piece in a good size (2500 x 1800) by clicking on the down arrow button in the lower right corner and selecting "original" size  For some reason Tim Swan had a similar issue where he couldn't do this.  Did you resolve that Tim?  It seems that web sites appear differently to people using different browsers or ISPs.  CORN-fusing!

Bulk Image Downloader will do the trick to download them in bulk.
