Monon water tanks

Anyone know what color the tanks were? I assume the person who asked me is interested in the older wooden tanks.

During the post-WW2 steam-diesel transition era at least, most wood water tanks were painted a light color of some kind.  See the attachment.  I've always assumed it was the same light beige color that most of Monon's wooden structures in those days were painted.

I took this picture of what appears to be a couple of motor car sheds in Monon, Indiana in July, 1979.  The colors look like a cream color and brown.  I assume the water towers would have been painted similar colors.
