I have just returned from one of my periodic expeditions to Monon country (my mom is in a nursing home in West Lafayette) - and I noticed that the Monon bridge at Wea Creek over SR25 has had significant work. I could not tell whether all the ironwork had been replaced, but the visible girders on both sides of the bridge are new metal painted in battleship grey, contrasting with the 'classic' black ironwork that has been there for lo-these-many-years.
Sorry, no pictures; it was dark going both ways and the camera was locked away in the trunk.
