Title: SUPER Calendar

I received my new 2014 Calendar and the News and Timetables, today.  It's neat living close to Salem.  Great old Monon photos taken by Joe F. Bennett.  I really like the January, also the May, and the June images.  The others aren't bad either.

Regarding the Model T at Clear Creek: it might well have been Joe's but it reminded me of something my grandfather (Rufus Taylor) told me.  Granddad knew Joe from having worked at McDoel many years.  He said that Joe rode a bicycle much of the time and could often be seen on his bike heading out on a picture taking expedition with a large camera strapped to his back.  I hope to write an article sometime about the day I met Joe totally by accident.  Great calendar!
