Title: F-3 Painting Drawing
Post by: Tom Kepshire on February 13, 2014, 04:42:32 pm
Does anyone have a painting diagram fro the red and grey scheme? I have a person trying to ut an O scale F unit set into production and needs it for the manufacturer. Also the DuPont color numbers for the grey that were used.

There was an article in Mainline Modeler by Rick Boor. Anyone have that article or issue? Steve Long says it was in 1981 or 82.

Tom,

You might have the guy give Ron Sebastian at Des Plaines Hobbies a call at 847-297-2118.  I believe he has all three colors of the paint in pint jars in his back room with the Dupont numbers on the cans.

This fellow called me also last week.  I gave him Chad Boas number.  I figure Chad could tell him everything he needs to know about Monon colors and paint for model Monon passenger cars.
