Post by: Gene Remaly on February 18, 2014, 05:56:38 am
I'm looking for a side or 3/4 view of the Budd car "on the MONON"
I have the Walthers model and want to mark it up as the demonstrater

I think this shows it pretty well Gene.  Don't overlook the little letters in the number boards.  / Ron

I'm only speculating the unit is northbound at Bloomington--- marker lights on the rear ?

Well, you're half right Gene, northbound but ready to leave Bedford.  I think they experimented with it between Bedford and Monon.  I don't know how long they ran it though.  / Ron

From Railway Age, April 15, 1950. I think the Budd car in the photo is actually facing s/b at Bedford.
