Title: Wade Interlocking Tower
Post by: Richard Blunt on April 09, 2014, 05:23:13 pm
Does anyone know who controls the former Wade tower north of LaCrosse? Wondering if I walk down to take pictures if I stand a chance of getting arrested or worse yet shot.

Not sure if the short line owns the ROW or CSX. I have walked back there a couple of times and nobody has bothered me, however, I walked through a farm field to get close, where I did have permission to be.

My first visit was cut short by a swam of angry hornets.

That track and tower are owned by a short line that is affiliated in some way with the Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum in North Judson.  I can't imagine anyone caring if you walk back in there and take a few pictures.  / Ron
