Found two more MONON photos on the Classic Trains website, one of which I've never seen before. The first one shows express freight being unloaded at an "unidentified small-town station," probably in the late 50's. Anybody hazard a guess as to which "small town" this is?
The second photo is a Linn Westcott shot of the Fall Creek bridges in Indianapolis which is in one of the MONON books, Hilton's Monon Route I believe. Apparently Westcott chose to shoot these as a "study in (3 different) bridge types".

The passenger train is shown at Monticello.

the Fall Creek bridge shown was replaced by a steel bridge at some point, probably when it was made a rail trail

The 1974 tornado destroyed the Monticello depot before the L&N could do the same thing.
