A huge thrill for me in 2010 was being allowed to ride in the cab.  As a youth, back in 1964 I rode behind this locomotive, in a rider car, between Pleasant Ridge elevator and Monticello. It was even better riding the cab.

Vern Maxson was allowed to operate #32 years ago at KRM. The dude broke out in a smile for weeks after that every time you looked at him. The cab ride  was awesome.
