Just testing if I can still send messages, since I no longer can receive notifications.

Thanks, Stew.  I'm not able to send attachments, sadly.

Are you running it under a browser, or using a Tapatalk app?  Attachments are okay with my IE browser running on Windows 7 and 8.1.  Tapatalk app fails under Windows 8.1 with an error message "outdated version of Tapatalk plugin", but my Apple iOS version works okay.  There are too many browsers and Tapatalk apps on too many devices and OSs to know what's going on.

Stew,
I'm using IE and Windows 8.  I tried again with no success.
Thanks, Roger

Roger,

For this test message I'm using the IE browser running under my desktop on Windows 8.1. The photo is not Monon related, I took it at Sandpoint, Idaho last September.  One of the locomotives is CSX, so in a way it is Monon related.

Roger,

For this message I'm using the IE browser app on Windows 8.1, not the one with the desktop.  The attached is definitely not related to the Monon. I discovered that it is more difficult to get to a photo in a folder under the app than with IE from the desktop.

I wrote a reply under Tapatalk's 8.1 app and the send button didn't send the message.  I can read ones with Tapatalk but I'm not smart enough to do anything else with it.  Back to logging in under the desktop browser.

Trying from my iPhone this time. Thanks, Stew.

Beautiful images, Stew.  Since I can send attachments from my phone, I conclude that the problem is with my Comcast account.
Thanks, Roger

Roger,

I liked your Monon photo better. Great photo and it fit the discussion group.  I tried sending an attachment with Tapatalk on my Apple device.  I could send a message but couldn't figure out how to attach a photo.  I guess I'll stick with Windows where I writing this reply.  Photo o[not allowed]ects are N scale.

Stew,
Thanks!  I didn't receive a notification for your post, so things are still not working right with the Board for me.  I guess I'll continue to just check in periodically: at least I can load attachments now.  BTW, I didn't select "Tapatalk" when it was offered as an option on my phone, thanks to your tip.  Perhaps you can disable it?

Roger,
Since you don't use Tapatalk, I guess you run the board with Safari on your iPhone.  I've never tried that. I've always accessed stuff with Tapatalk unless I'm on the IE browser.  I login now and then and check for unread messages.  I don't know how to set up alerts.  This Test thread has been educational about all the options available for using the board.

I'm still not receiving any notifications.  I even tried a different email account through Google.  I guess i'll just keep checking the Board with my browser.

Looks like the smaller image worked Roger.

Tom, Thanks.  Oddly, I can send larger images from my iphone than from my desktop.  Still can't figure out why I'm no longer getting notifications, but I can check the Board from time to time and read unread topics.
