Does anyone have information on when the original trestle was replaced with the steel span.

Tom, the wooden trestle shown is the one built following the washout on June 28, 1957.  I think it was probably replaced with the steel bridge before 1965, because that is when I started running out of Lafayette, and I don't remember it being done while I was on the Middle Division.  / Ron
