Title: Bell placement on alco rs2

Would any of you fine knowledgeable members happen to know where the Bell would be mounted on the rs2? Was it a standard or did location very from unit to unit?

The RS-2 bells were located on the front of the locomotive just behind the front step on the Engineer's side. Look for the letter "F" on the frame and the bell is located under the frame almost directly below the "F".

Hi Steve, thanks for your quick reply. I do not consider myself to be a rivet counter, but I also want to be as accurate in my modeling efforts as my ability allows.
