Title: Monon Lettering Font
Post by: Roger Nulton on November 12, 2020, 09:52:07 pm
Has anyone discovered a lettering font like the italicized "Monon" logo?  I am trying to letter my model of the "Monon Grill" in Greencastle, and the photos of the lettering that I have (attached) were taken at an angle that is too sharp to fix by my photo editing software program.
Thank you for any help,
Roger Nulton

Roger,

I used winzip to create a zip file of MONON_.TTF . See if you can unzip it into a TTF and then put it into your c:\windows\fonts folder.

Stew,
That's terrific!  Thank you very much.  And thanks for the instructions on how to access it: I would never have figured that out.
Where did this come from, out of curiosity?
Roger

Sometimes you can double click the install file and it will prompt you to install it also.....

I think Tom Kepshire provided the font file many many years ago. My file has a 2004 date on it.

Yes, it was Tom as I recall.  I remember a discussion about the font years ago but never followed up since I had no immediate need.
Thanks again Stew.  And thanks to Rick as well.  His method for installing the file works also.
