Title: CSX Trackage

Wondering if CSX in making available the tracks from New Albany to Mitchell, made an offer to local communities to retain segments for use in short excursion uses.  I would guess no, but it brings to mind, how did Hoosier Valley previously acquire their trackage?

As far as I know, all the rails and ties between New Albany and Mitchell have been salvaged, except for the rails in highway crosssings. At least, everything I saw between Mitchell and Saltillo in July was in that condition.
