Title: Who Is This

Found this photo in a file it should not have been in and it is labeled as Monon Conductor Carl Crumbo. Carl was an engineer correct? Anyone know who this gentleman is? Thanks to Ran Marquardt this gentleman has been identified as Walter Hayes.

I don't think that's Carl Crumbo.  Carl was an engineer.  The only guy I know that could do both would be Marquardt.

That is sort of why I posted it. I thought Carl was an engineer too. The image may be identified incorrectly. I hope someone can identify this gentleman, so I can change the file name. Thanks Mike.

Carl Crumbo was an engineer.  This is conductor Walter Hays.  They were on the crew for the last #5 & #6, but I don't know if this was taken that day.  It probably was.  / Ron

This photo was on the roll of film taken at Salem on the last run of Carl Crumbo.
