Where was attached pic taken?
I believe somewhere in Chicagoland area, 1963.

It is around 63rd St. Station Ken.

Yes, that is Englewood Station on the C&WI. The train is on the track that was used by C&WI commmuter trains and freight locals. SB passenger trains would normalls be seen on the third track from the right.

I've found some great MONON photos in a 1983 book entitled "Chicago's Passenger Trains" by Robert Olmstead, photos I don't believe I've seen before.  Here's the first two of the found MONON pages.

Here's the frontispiece of the "Chicago's Passenger Trains" book, showing ATSF and PRR trains hitting the complex of diamonds at 21st St. interlocking.  Not MONON trainwise, but MONON passenger train rattled through the curving trackage nontheless, as shown the the second photo (not from the book).
