Title: Passenger Timetables
Post by: Ken Weller on April 24, 2012, 02:39:14 pm
Attached is a scan of the cover of a 1942 timetable.

Do others have scans of time tables to share?

What is the oldest Monon TT that anyone has?

Wow, there are many odd "layovers" on that and long times between places that are close by.  Why did it take so long to go between Salem and New Albany back then?

The oldest Public Timetable that I know of at WHQ is dated April 4, 1856. It is two pages (8.5" x 11"). It may be a copy rather than original made by the Monon Railroad about 90 or so years later.
