The French Lick operator worked out of a desk in the freight house for the last few months that there was an agency there, in the 1960s - the passenger depot was closed down. If memory serves, it was Lloyd Kimble. He always felt sort of badly that he was the last person to man the agency stations at French Lick, Campbellsburg, and Mitchell. [A topic for another time: the Campbellsburg depot was literally torn down around him - he was still handling train orders as the demolition crew was taking down the building on the last day.]
