Title: MRHTS Member Betty Joe Marquardt Honored

Betty Joe Marquardt of Spencer Chapter #425 in District 7 was honored at Grand Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, at the Marriott in Indianapolis, on June 9, 2012.  She received the 1st Secretary of the Year award for the state of Indiana. She was presented on stage and given flowers and a certificate by Jonny Beeler, Grand Secretary to honor the occasion.

Jonny Beeler and her staff decided to start this annual award to recognize a job well done. They started out with 193 secretaries from all over the state.  A plaque will be placed in the Eastern Star Secretary's Office in Franklin, Indiana, with her name on it as the first "Secretary of the Year".

This is fabulous.  To be the best in the state is good but it is even greater to be the very first selected for this award.
