Today's JC contained the obituary of Bob Priest, Mr Amtrak. He was not directly connected with the Monon but Lafayette Railroads in general. He and another man who has passed on earlier were voluntary attendants that met every Amtrak train that passed thru Lafayette regardless of the time of the day or the night. A sympathy card has been mailed to the family.

Sharon,
It was very nice of you to do this. Everyone that volunteers for any public related activity desirves to be recognized for doing a job at the end of the day. I am sure he helped many people by answering questions if nothing else. It is always nice to have a local person to refer to in a strange place when traveling.
