Seems that I recall that a Quakenbush held a large chunk of Monon stock in the later years.  I recall that name was in a list of stockholders with more than a certain percentage in the proxy statement included with the last several Annual Report mailngs to stockholders.

Harold Qualkinbush lived in Westville.  His neighbor was the section foreman and got Harold a job when he was layed off from his job at the mill.  He had onhy worked a week for the Monon and got called back to the mill.

Several (not all) of Ed Quarry's  record books are in the archives. He kept a detailed account of the cars handled on his locals. Also an account of passengers handled when he was conductor on 5 or 6. This is a fascinating set of books.
