Title: The hide a Bed Sofa and Recliner from the Business Car For Sale
Post by: Pete Pedigo on December 09, 2012, 02:19:32 pm
All,

The hide-a- bed sofa and matching recliner from the business car are available for sale.  They are not Monon by any means. They were purchased for the Business Car by the Brown Family during the 1987 rebuild into the MONON Car.  They are both Lazy Boy brand and in very good condition, except for the back of the couch.  It was up against the windows and the sunlight has dry rotted the fabric especailly on the lower skirt part.  The front of the couch along with the cushions are in great shape along with the reclilner.

We removed these from the car when the new carpet and new furniture was installed.  They are currently in Bloomington, IN at my place awaiting a new home.  Now that winter is near I need to get them out of my garage.

They will go to the highest bidder and you must transport them.  It will take a full sized pickup truck to move them.

Email me privately with your offer and I will announce the winner and the winning amount on this forum.  If no one bids on them at all then I will assume that no one wants them and I will take them to Goodwill and donate them to their efforts on behalf of the MRHTS before [not allowed]mas.  The attached picture is the best I have.

None of the other items are available.  Most was removed before we aquired the car and what remained was discarded with faults at Jasper when the car arrived and sat at the a depot during the initial cleaning.

All,

52 members have viewed my post and no one has emailed me indicating they are interested in this furniture.  By the end of next week the will be at a Goodwill store, or discarded if Goodwill does not want them.
