I have a friend who has a Fairmont one-man motor car for sale. It came from the IC, and was used between Bloomington and Bloomfield by a signal maintainer. It is in very good condition, everything on it is original. The canvas side curtains do need to be replaced (there is a tent and awning manufacturer in Gosport that can duplicate them). It runs very well.
He said he will sell it for $3,100 which is exactly what he paid for it. It is stored inside and can be seen at his place in Cloverdale. Anyone seriously interested, please contact me and I will give you his name and phone number. / Ron
