I took this picture in Bloominton on August 19, 1983.  The train was switching at the north end of McDoel.

That is a great photo Bob.  I wonder how that thing got out on the main line??  I'll bet the FRA guy wasn't around that day.  Those quarry to mill cars never had the air brakes or hand brakes checked or tested.  That's why they were so dangerous to handle in the stone districts, and why several of them were laying at the bottom of quarry holes.  LOL.  / Ron
