Title: Highway flasher lights on the old Midland Sub
Post by: Tom Pinnick on March 29, 2013, 09:37:38 pm
Recently on the Indiana Bull Session a fellow from Linton posted a photo of a grade crossing flashing light and a subsequent description. You can read his article, but can not see the photo unless you are a subscriber (free). See: http://indianarailroads.org/board/index.php?board=44.0
Today I ventured over there are took these two photos. The light flashes constantly. I don't know what it does when a train comes. Anyway, except for the LED lenses, the signal is a remnant from the Monon days. I took two photos, one flashing and one not. Yes there are two, one each side.

Gene,
Go to www.indianarailroads.org home page. Click on the "Bull Session" box and there should be directions to sign up. If not you can contact Nathan Bilger, site owner, listed at the bottom of the home page for help. Contact me if no luck and I can contact someone knowledgeable. Since I am registered, I bypass the signup automatically.

I tried to sign up many months ago.   i followed their instructions and then got an e-mail saying my application had to be voted on in a couple of weeks and then I would hear.   I am still waiting for that message.

That is to stop spam.  We made it harder to sign onto our board to because spammers were attacking it.

We were getting multiple hits every day by spammers.  Our administrators were dealing with them before they got into the board.  I imagine this is what was happing to the Indiana Bull session also.

Sharon,

I checked the INRR member list and you are shown as a member. You should be able to see and post photos. Anyone can read the script.

Gene,

You might try the site and see if you can see the photos.
