Now we a have a place to tell Cecil what a good job he always does, and to brag about who is the first to get the new issue :)
-
The May 2013 issue arrived here in Indianapolis today. A very nice issue.
-
I got a phone call Thursday night from Tim Mason from Texas. He had his May copy in hand. I haven't even gotten my copy at Salem. Mine is mailed to give me an idea how long it takes for delivery of THL.

Nothing received in Edwardsville (New Albany route), IN as today's mail delivery.

Just an update. Still no THL in South Bend. Maybe the trucks had multiple flat tires?
-
Tom: Does South Bend mail go through Chicago? The super-regional mail center in Chicago used to be a notorious black hole for bulk mail.
When I was doing a newsletter for another nonprofit about 15 years ago, I used to get reports that folks in that part of the country didn't see their issue for 5-6 *weeks*!

Mine arrived yesterday in Westville. Great issue, too.
-
Not sure about Chicago, but I suspect it mkes a side trip to China first. LOL. I understand how it all works, just like to complain and gripe. It will arrive sooner or later, but my money is always on later. ;D

My "official" copy of THL has yet to arrive in southern Wisconsin, and it certainly comes through Chicago. Becaue I'm a contributor now (doing the Q&A section), Cecil had sent me a copy earlier, 1st Class I think, so it's no big deal for me. But my regular member copy coming via snail-mailx4 is still lost somewhere in northern Illinois. Maybe those geeks at Fermilab really did succeed in creating a black hole in their big particle accelerator down there.

Saints preserve us! The latest edition of the Hoosier Line has finally arrived here in South Bend. When I came home from my exercise workout, the Postman had just left it in the mailbox. Oh happy day.
P.S. Like Tim, I do had an advanced look, but it is my right to complain. Just kidding. Another great issue Cecil.

May 13, 2013 - Still no THL at Edwardsville (New Albany mail route).
