For what it's worth, my grandparents' farm was bisected by the Monon near Leipsic. As a teenager I spent a lot of time on green tractors watching black and gold locomotives on heavy freights!

I have no clue what the origins are of this, but a local business in Hammond had this on display a few years ago. I haven't seen it since, so I'm glad I made a u-turn and snapped a photo. Enjoy!

When we bought our first home in 2014, I had no clue as to the railroad history that existed just a few steps away from our front door, nor did I have any clue that commuter service would be brought to us. I've been documenting the construction since the beginning in a very amateur sort of way.

It was pure luck that I brought trains into St. Louis during two of 4014's recent tours. I managed to snag a few photos during the usual wait for our hotel van...

Welp, it looks like my membership issue was sorted out and I received my first two copies of THL plus the 2025 calendar. The magazine is very impressive and the articles are very interesting!
