2013 Lafayette Convention
« on: September 09, 2013, 02:58:20 pm »
My wife and I will be staying at the Hilton, as I waited too long to get in the Holiday Inn.  I certainly do not wish to miss anything so i am running this by those attending to make sure no I's are undotted.  My brain remains with traditional conventions whereby the official dinner was on Sat. evening.  My plan is:

The plan is to get there in time to check-in at the Hilton, freshen up,  go to the Holiday Inn, register for the convention, and be there before the 7 PM dinner.

On Saturday we will be responsible to grab a bite for breakfast, go to the station, board the AMTRAK by 7:15 (departs at 7:30).  We will also be on our own to eat lunch at Museum of Sci & Industry; and also dinner on the train.  We get back to Lafayette at about 10 PM, and crash!

any advice from Lafayette locals or others.

Many thanks, David Longest
