1947 Covered Hoppers

Pierre Oliver has issued a mini-kit to correct an Intermountain covered hopper for the Monon 4221-4320.  This has the right roof, hatches and latches.  This is similar to a Sunshine kit from many years ago which is impossible to find.  See:

Also, Jerry Glow has issued decals for the same car as delivered.  These hopefully will fit between the ribs of the cars as the old Champ decals are too wide!  See:

It looks similar to this car in photographed in Orleans in March, 1981.  I got photos of 5 old Monon hoppers that day in Orleans.
