Just a comment about the box car photo. The pole line in the background has 2 cross arms. I thought the MC line only had one cross arm on the pole line. It also looks like it is out in the country, not in Monon.

The elevator in Monon was "in the country". It was at the intersection of SR 16 and SR 43 at the north end of town. I could not see anything in the shot that could be used to tell if it is Monon.
