Please note that we have another new member, Laurey Marquardt Claypool, and she is special for several reasons, first because she is my daughter, and second because she was the first woman conductor and locomotive engineer ever to work on the old Monon. Before she moved on to other things, for several years she and I were on the same engineer's seniority roster.

PS, another note of interest, when Laurey was training in Cumberland, Md., the Manager of the Training Center was another former Monon engineer off our seniority roster, Ronnie McMurray.
