I hope some one out there does. There are gaps in the society's collection for the "exact" dates for both the starting and ending of the service and at other times particularly before 1891.
The dates are known for timetables before the service started, when it was running and after it ended. but we can't be sure of exactly which timetable on which it started and ended as they are missing.
Another interesting thing to happen is that during the times the train ran the trains numbers "reversed directions". That is to say when the service started odd numbered trains were northward and even southward and by the time it ended evennumbered trains were northward and oddnumbered were southward. BTW the "train" in question was numbered 11 and 12.
WRT to timetables the society has no original timetables or photocopies of them before NA&S #6 issued January 1, 1855 and after that the collection is spotty (a few here and there, some contiguous, some not until L. N. A. & C. #10 issued June 21, 1891. There are still a few missing after that date. If anyone knows of timetables particularly before 1891 era please let me know (
rewheeler@iquest.net ) as we would like to at least obtain photocopies of them. There were several series of timetables issued by the L. N. A. & C. One series was numbered to at least #104.
