Joseph F. Iles, 84
Joseph F. Iles, 84, of Floyds Knobs, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at his residence in Floyds Knobs. He was born August 15, 1927, in Montgomery County, to the late Claud and Mary Kemble Iles and was a former resident of Lafayette, for forty four years. He married Juanita M. Bailiff on November 22, 1952, and was a retired employee of 35 years of the Monon Railroad. Joseph was a member of the Edwardsville United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by a sister, Helen Fulks and a brother, Walter Iles.
Along with his wife of 60 years, Juanita Marie Bailiff Iles, he leaves behind seven children: Michael Iles, of Lafayette, Vicki Yoder, of Walkerton, David Iles (wife Vicki), of Lafayette, Daniel Iles (wife Peggy), of Floyds Knobs, Phyllis Gregory (husband David), of Georgetown, Richard Iles of Fairdale, KY, Anita Striegel (husband Joe) of Corydon, one sister: Mildred Amos of West Lafayette, 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Covenant Church in West Lafayette.
