Rick,

I have answers to two of these questions.  What is the procedure in the future for answering questions?  My understanding is that the Q&A will no longer be printed in THL.

Sorry if I missed the announcement on this su[not allowed]ect.

Just post it with the question number.

I can't copy the text from the THL Q&A.

Additional Answer to Q&A #772

I have a complete list of the current known dispositions of the Monon wide-vision cupola cabooses.  The disposition of caboose #81529 has been a mystery for some time, but the story I heard was that it was badly damaged in a wreck and was scrapped by SBD.

Over the years, the car numbers for #81529 were L&N #920, L&N #6920, L&N #6493 and SBD #16943, so at least it made it to the SBD.

Attached are two photos of former-Monon #81529 in L&N numbers.

Over the years, the car numbers for #81531 were L&N #922, L&N #6922, L&N #6494 and SBD #16494.  At last I heard, SBD #16494 is located in the town of Erwin, TN.  Not sure if this is a museum or not.

Attached are three photos of former-Monon #81531 in L&N and SBD numbers.

The SBD sure butchered the extended cupola windows on 81531.
