Alida B&O Crossing

Don't see many photos of the B&O crossing at Alida.  This one was on ebay recently.  The information on the photo is:

B&O crossing; Alida, IN; 11/05/72; Russell T. Sharp photo

Notice the Monon hopper sitting on the interchange track.

Am I correct that the photographer is looking southbound along the former MC line? Nice picture.

They probably dropped those cars onto the interchange and the engines are backing onto the train.  It looks a lot different in Alida today.  The Monon is gone and the B&O is once again double track.
