Dante's "Down the Hatch"
« on: July 26, 2013, 12:37:24 pm »
Dante Stephensen owner of "Dante's Down the Hatch" Fondue and Jazz Club and the owner of MONON Business Car #3 of Atlanta, GA has announce the closing of his resturant at the present location.  We had read an article that the property taxes on his property had sky rocketed in resent years due to skyscrappers being built all around him.  I would speculate that he has sold his property, not that he wanted to necessarily.  I know that he considers his employees family and did not want to sell a year or so ago.  Dante still lives on Business Car #3 on a gated private fenced in siding in the woods near Atlanta.

Pete,
Do you suppose we can sweet talk Dante into leaving #3 car to our society in his will? Has anyone been in contact with him?

Pete,

Not to be too greedy, I agree with Geof about the possibility of obtaining Car #3 in the future.  Is it possible that The Society could obtain a Right of First Refusal if the Stephensen family decides to sell it?  Sometimes this requires payment to get this right, but it might be worth it.
