Hindsight is always 20/20. One would think that an artifact like that would have been taken and preserved. On the other hand, knowing the purpose of the car, maybe people of those times considered it bad ju-ju to save, or use the car again. Just a thought. If there would ever be something that should be in the Smithsonian, that car sure as hell would have been on top of the list.
