WILLIAMS — Jerry Wisley, age 71 of Williams, passed away at 1 p.m. on Sunday at his residence.
He was born on Nov. 22, 1941, in South Bend to Ivan Glenn and Lucille Alice (Pruett) Wisley. He married Nancy (Patterson) Purkhiser on Sept. 22, 2013, in Williams and she survives.
Jerry was a graduate of Smithville High School and a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a retired railroad conductor for CSX Railroad.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Wisley of Williams; three sisters; Glenda Clayton of Bloomfield, Janice Lucas of Fayetteville and Nona Freeman of Tennessee; one brother, Dale Wisley of Maryland; three daughters, Melinda (Tim) Raines of Fayetteville, Alice Wisley of Spencer and Ruth (Doug) May of Williams; one son, Ivan (Kelly) Wisley of Bruceville; grandchildren, Brandi and Emilee Raines of Fayetteville, Amber and Keith Dennis of Spencer, Iva and Lucy Wisley of Bruceville, Logan and Randi May of Williams; great-grandchildren, Chloe Atchison of Mohamett, Ill., Londyn May and Keeley Carrico of Williams; two stepchildren, Tom (April) Cromwell of Paragon and Dawn (Marty) Purdue of Martinsville; and four step grandchildren, Chris and Kelsey Cromwell of Paragon, Billy Purdue of Bloomington, and Kyle Purdue of Bedford
He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Sue Wisley.
Celebration of Jerry’s Life will be from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Cresthaven Funeral Home, A memorial service at 7 p.m,
