Don K N Scale Monon Layout Hammond Conkey Pics
« on: February 13, 2012, 02:04:07 pm »
Hi folks. Just sharing some pics of my N scale layout based loosely on the North end around Hammond.  The layout is still in the track laying and benchwork stages.

These are photos I took while working on lighting and "thinking out loud" on scenery.
This area represents Conkey North of Oak Hill Cemetery just South of downtown Hammond.
Enjoy.

Thanks Tom.  Does opening the box and looking at it count for progress? ;)

True - true.

Actually, my next project will be to put a sound decoder in that C420.  I know it's not right for my era, but I like that engine and found a drop in sound decoder so using "modeller's license", that engine will be making some noise hopefully by next week!
