Dark Hollow Quarry

Another stop on the Stafford Tour. One of the most impressive thing about Dark Hollow is the amount of equipment was just left behind. Also the total quiet. One can just imagine this quarry during it's hey day. We walked several of the old railroad spurs and even found some tracks. Pretty neat place.

Some additional photos of Dark Hollow.
001: One of the old RR ROW's inside the quarry.
005: Our Tour Guide points out something carved in the rock.
010: The Witches House. Well that is what Joe Land and I called a little house we came upon while walking on of the paths. It was kind of weird and we expected the Wicked Witch to pop up on the roof at any moment.
017: One of the old holes at Dark Hollow.
