Cement Wreck
« on: January 30, 2016, 10:51:43 am »
Attached you will find an interesting (but not too accurate) article about the strange wreck that happened to Monon #513 in Cement, IN.  The article was found on eBay and credits the source to Popular Mechanics magazine, of all places.

At any rate, we have seen other photos of this wreck before and I'm still convinced that the guys standing under the locomotive and standing in the cab must surely have been an escapees from the local asylum.  It looks like they are moving the derrick into position to start the recovery operation as explained in the article.
