One of the pleasures that I have been accorded is to have had the opportunity to visit Monon landmarks. In 2004 I was able to see and walk across the Wildcat Creek bridge. I also returned in 2006 and along with another Monon fan walked the bridge again. I wish I had been able to ride across this structure via rails, but it was something I will remember.

Sad state of the bridge in 2008. I would not even want to be on it now. I heard it was scheduled for demolition. Anyone know for sure?
