Their were two interurban's in Frankfort.  One from Kokomo to Frankfort ran along side the NKP Cloverleaf line and one from Indianapolis to Frankfort along St. Rd. 39 and crossed the Monon at the Fairgrounds.  I think one of them continue on to Lafayette along the NKP to Lafayette.  I had to cross the Monon at a diamond at the junction of the the NKP near the NKP roundhouse.

Did the Monon cross the NKP in Frankfort near the NKP shops building?

I would have expected a water plug at Frankfort, but coal would have been available at Indianapolis and Monon about 90 miles apart.
