Photos of private cars

Some one slipped an envelope under my apartment front door this am.  In that envelope were photos of the Amtrak yesterday with the private cars on the back.  I am very pleased and just a little surprised.   This is a locked apartment building and one cannot get in the front door without a key or someone to buzz you in.  I may never know but I do thank them for thinking of me.

A member of the Purdue Model Railroad Club, John Feister, took these photos this morning of the northbound Cardinal at Lafayette, Indiana. He posted them to the Society's Facebook page. Looks like a great way to travel to a ballgame. Even a Cubs game.

Northbound Amtrak with private varnish capture at Monon, Indiana this morning by John Feister, or the Purdue Model Railroad Club. Nice day to be out following the train.
