L&N's company photographer posed three brand new SD35s on the escape track under the hump at DeCoursey one evening in 1965 for this scene. The shot was used on the cover of an issue of the L&N Magazine, among other places. Alas, DeCoursey would be closed after CSX was formed, with all Cincinnati-area yard functions consolidated at the former B&O/C&O yard at Queensgate. DeCoursey was L&N's largest facility, but it was in an an out of the way location to be of any real benefit in the post-CSX world.
