Tom,
That is why I worked so hard to preserve the B&B Val Maps when I did. I knew some footprints of the B&B  would be lost forever due to progress.
I do not resist progress; just want history preserved for future generations.
I did my part...
Mission accomplished...

And for those of you who have never seen it, Joe's CD of the B&B with Val Maps overlaid on Google earth images is wonderful.  You can drive through the area and know exactly where the old right-of-way was.  Get your copy online from the Stores department or purchase it at the convention.  / Ron

INDOT will let (accept bids) on the section of I-69 that will cross the BSOB just west of Ashcraft Chapel. The good news is that there will be almost 70 feet of clearance - ground to bridge - if we decide to reinstall the railroad. You can always dream......

INDOT sis not receive any bid below the engineers estimate. INDOT will readvertise per their usual procedure. Just a minor delay in the overall scheme.

Tom,

If the low bidder is within 5% of the engineers estimate they can be awared the job.  I have not heard the outcome of that yet.

The bridge over Mineral road is 1900' feet long over that swampy valley.
